He runs productions for studios and agencies that already won the work. Launch films, founder films, funding announcement films, and customer story documentaries. Some jobs he directs. Some he hosts on camera. Most of the time what a client actually needs is someone who can take a date, a city, and a budget and return a finished film without anyone having to worry about the shoot day.

He shoots mostly in San Francisco and New York, and anywhere else in the US. Sourcing the local crew, gear, and locations is part of the service rather than something the client has to solve.

There are two ways to hire him. As a line producer, where the client stays the production company and he runs the shoot on day rates starting at $950 a day for remote producing. Or as a full production through Valley Films, LLC, which contracts crew, carries insurance, holds the budget, and takes on the production risk, usually $15,000 to $20,000 for a one or two day shoot.

Most studio and agency work is white label. The end client sees the studio’s brand.
