SamCart | Product launch film
SamCart Buy Now, Pay Later
By the time Buy Now, Pay Later showed up inside SamCart, the consumer behavior was already familiar.
Shoppers understood the concept. The harder question was what it meant for sellers.
That is what made the project more interesting than a normal feature announcement. The release had to frame Buy Now, Pay Later not just as another checkout option, but as a better trade. More flexibility for the buyer, less hesitation at the point of purchase, and no obvious downside in how the seller gets paid.
That is a much stronger narrative than “new payment method available now.”
At SamCart, I owned video end to end, so this piece was mine from concept through finish. The creative challenge was keeping the film out of the weeds. Once you start explaining payment mechanics, the energy drops fast. The real work was translating a financial feature into something simple enough to trust immediately.
This is the kind of launch I like because it lives right between product and persuasion. The product team has shipped something real. Marketing needs a crisp way to talk about it. Video becomes the bridge.
That is what this page should show. Not that I made an asset for a checkout feature, but that I knew where the value actually lived and built the film around that instead.
