SamCart / CreatorU | Keynote launch film
CreatorU Keynote 2022
This was not just another course launch.
CreatorU was built as a broader education offer, a packaged ecosystem around knowledge, training, and momentum for people trying to build online businesses. That meant the keynote had to do more than explain the offer. It had to make the launch feel like a new chapter, not a rearranged set of existing materials.
That distinction matters.
A keynote is one of the few formats where a company can slow down, build belief, and let the audience feel a larger point of view. The risk, of course, is that it becomes long, overloaded, or too self-congratulatory. The better version has shape. It introduces the problem, frames the opportunity, and gives the audience a reason to care before the offer arrives.
That was the lane here.
I led the video work around the piece and treated it like a narrative anchor for the broader launch, not a recording of announcements. The goal was to create something that could hold attention, raise the perceived size of the offer, and give the brand a stronger sense of occasion.
For a portfolio site, this project helps because it shows comfort with longer-form launch work. Not just trailers and short promos, but the kind of structured, belief-building film that can carry a launch week.
