Circle Year in Review 2025
Annual recap videos can feel disposable if you let them.
A company collects the highlights, strings together a timeline, puts music under it, and calls it done. This one had the chance to be more deliberate than that.
It was the first time Circle’s year-in-review format moved into a more polished, founder-led setup. That changed the tone right away. Instead of feeling like a fast internal summary, it had room to feel more considered. More like a company taking stock of itself in public.
That was the opportunity.
The page should not oversell the piece as some massive reinvention. What mattered was the shift in posture. A stronger visual setting. A clearer executive voice. A little more confidence in letting the company speak with intent about where it had been and where it was heading.
I led the production effort around that, including the shoot in New York and the shaping that happens before anyone ever hits record. That is the part people miss when they talk about founder-led video. Good executive video is rarely about performance. It is about environment, framing, and knowing what kind of honesty the piece can hold.
That is what I think this project captures well. It is calm work. Mature work. The kind of film a company makes when it is trying to sound more like itself and less like marketing.
